Jesus and the Dogwood Tree

Many nature lovers out there know the story of the Dogwood tree; its springtime blooms are the shape of the cross and remind us of Jesus’s resurrection.

In autumn, the leaves turn blood red, reminding us that Jesus died for our sins.

Most of my personal friends know how I feel about God & Jesus, but I’d like to speak for a moment to Believers.

Jesus died on the cross because He stood up to corrupted leaders in His home country. Jesus bled because He demanded justice for all of humanity, and spoke out against the wealthy elitists in the church who would keep the poor enslaved. His forgiveness was granted to people who had nothing, people who could not buy their health, who could not purchase their shelter & well-being. His favor was given to men who lived simply, and He rejected the extravagance of wealth.

Christians, go back to the Bible, and read the parables. Understand that our modern Pharisees are the GOP. They claim they are doing God’s work, but they are really only hoarding wealth at the expense of humanity and all creation. How in Heaven is God going to recognize a Corporation? Jesus forgives the sins of man, but He also expects us to stop sinning!

WWJD? He would fight for Justice!

“Woe to those who make unjust laws, to those who issue oppressive decrees, to deprive the poor of their rights and withhold justice from the oppressed of my people,

making widows their prey and robbing the fatherless.” -Isaiah 10:1

“No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other.

You cannot serve both God and money.”-Matthew 6:24

Jesus is with the peaceful protesters of OccupyWallStreet

Jesus is with the 300,000+ who peacefully marched to demand ClimateAction (SaveCreation)

Jesus is with the mother needing food assistance, handing out the loaves and fishes.

If you’d like Jesus to be with you, it’s time to get to work, get off your ass, give up the idea of Prosperity for All, because there will always be men to corrupt the idea of Heaven on Earth.

Heaven on Earth is Nature.
